The ALBERT SCHUCK GmbH story begins. Albert Schuck founds the company Aschaffenburger Rollkontor, Schuck und Stenger with Josef Stenger

After the partners split up, first regular services begin including routes between Aschaffenburg and Hamburg. Short distance traffic keeps Aschaffenburg supplied with goods from the Frankfurt region and Würzburg.
1957
A well-known food company that is still operating today is canvassed, resulting in extensive warehousing business.
1964
Walter Groß takes over the management of our company following the death of the company founder in 1964. Expansion and introduction of new services including consolidated freight and collective consignment together with import and export transportation.

Introduction of computerized systems

HGV fleet changed over to 6 m swap body system
1979
Albert Schuck Senior takes over business in the second generation. The focus now is less on the traditional forwarding business, specializing instead in transporting part and complete loads for other forwarding companies.

The market leader in the German courier, express and package service market transfers his transport network in the Rhine Main region to us. This successful cooperation means that today we are able to operate with extensive fleet equipment on a swap body basis.

The company is certified according to the occupational health and safety management guidelines of BG Transport and implements the international requirement for occupational health and safety as per standard OHSAS 18001:2007.

New special features for the HGVs! The company management has decided that as from 2019, the driver’s seat in every new HGV should have a massage function.

Ready for Brexit! We have taken an intensive look at the Brexit and customs issues to maintain our position as England specialist. We continue to operate daily services to England for our customers from 2020.

Occupational safety management system re-certified! The requirements per NLF/ILO-OSH 2001 are fulfilled and implemented as per OHSAS 18001:2007. BG Transport has confirmed fulfillment of the requirements as per DIN ISO 45001.
