Note on GTC
We work solely on the basis of the German Freight Forwarders' Standard Terms and Conditions 2017 – ADSp 2017 –. The ADSp 2017 deviates in (23) from the law in terms of the maximum liability amount for damage to goods (§ 431 German Commercial Code) by limiting the liability for multi-modal transport including carriage by sea and an unknown damage location to 2 SDR/kg and otherwise by limiting the standard liability of 8,33 SDR/kg also to 1.25 million Euro per claim and 2.5 million Euro per event, but at least 2 SDR/kg.
